CURE Mannheim at Formula Student Czech Republic 2025
Event at a glance: Formula Student Czech Republic took place 4–9 August 2025 at the Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic, featuring the full slate of static and dynamic disciplines under the FS Rules 2025, including Driverless options.
We rolled into Most after a scenic drive, set up camp, and kicked off race week with excitement. From there, the week became a masterclass in teamwork.
Scrutineering rollercoaster. We cleared mechanical scrutineering and pre-inspection early then regrouped after missing the first accumulator scrutineering attempt. The next days were all about momentum: Business Plan Presentation done, Cost & Manufacturing checked, and focused fixes after e-scruti feedback. A sudden downpour briefly turned our pit into a paddling pool, but spirits stayed high. By Day 5 we completed LV & HV electrical inspections - electric scrutineering: finished. The classic tilt, rain and brake tests followed and we earned the green light to drive.
Dynamic days. With scrutineering behind us, we got to enjoy the track and the sunshine, trading stories (and a lot of stickers) with other teams. On Endurance day we found our rhythm and clicked off lap after lap 19 of 22 before technical issues stopped us on lap 20 because of challenges with a safety check of the driverless integration wich reported inplausible values resulting in a safety halt of our EV-System.
Community & closure. Packing camp and pit was a team sprint of its own, leaving time to cheer from the sidelines, cool off at a nearby lake, and celebrate at the awards. We’re heading home proud of the growth this week demanded - faster triage, cleaner processes, tighter communication - and already channeling everything we learned into the next build and the next race week.
