Season Finale at Formula Student Germany!

This season's grand finale took us to the legendary Hockenheimring, the home of Formula Student Germany, held from 18-24 August 2025. A week that had everything: tight schedules, team spirits, night shifts, and the kinds of highs and lows that define race season.




Right from arrival, the focus was sharp. One by one, we cleared all scrutineerings: Mechanical, electrical, and driverless, and made our way through the statics with solid results in Business Plan, Cost & Manufacturing, and Engineering Design. With green lights in hand, it was time to hit the track!

Monicar took on manual SkidPad and Acceleration with steady runs and precision. Our driverless system also lined up for Autocross and gave its best at SkidPad and Acceleration, where just a few seconds stood between us and the start of official runs.
Then came the kind of challenge you never plan for: during manual Autocross, the front left suspension gave way mid-run. Within minutes, the pit turned into a workshop. Overnight, the team re-engineered the car using parts from Rennate and Eva, designed and built replacements, and mounted everything back on Monicar. By sunrise, she was ready again but only minutes too late for Endurance and mechanical re-scrutineering.

Even without an Endurance run, we ended FSG on a high. From a surprise “THE-FSG-MAP-STILL-LOADING-AWARD” (after our driverless car completed a quarter lap and then performed six perfect circles) to being featured on Tagesschau and SWR TV during FSG’s 20th anniversary... the week gave us moments we’ll never forget!

We left Hockenheim proud of our grit, teamwork, and creativity under pressure. The perfect ending to a season that pushed us to grow in every way.

Our new Board We would like to thank our former board members Kathrin Gonsior, Luisa Andrae and Roman Hill for their dedication to our association. Since October, our new board has taken office: Nils Starbaty serves as First Chairperson, focusing on long-term sustainability, while Jennifer Lück steps in as Second Chairperson to work closely with our alumni network. Die Formula Student Austria 2023 war ein aufregendes Abenteuer voller technischer Prüfungen, intensiver Emotionen und beeindruckender Teamarbeit. Wir möchten unsere Erfahrungen teilen und die Höhen und Tiefen dieser erlebnisreichen Tage mit Ihnen teilen. Tag 1: Erfolgreicher Start mit Accu-Scrutineering und Pre Inspection Wir haben den ersten Tag mit Bravour gemeistert! Das Accu-Scrutineering und die Pre Inspection waren nur der Anfang unserer Herausforderungen. Wir sind stolz darauf, diese ersten Hürden erfolgreich genommen zu haben und blicken gespannt auf die kommenden Prüfungen. Tag 2: Emotionen und Action beim E-Scruti und Mech-Scruti Ein Tag voller Action und Emotionen!
